Dual-layer dog chew/teeth cleaner made with nourishing, durable, non-toxic ingredients—not plastic

A local businessman and dog lover decided he wanted to produce a dog chew that was truly healthy for dogs.  Searching for a dog bone for his own dogs, he had found very few choices that provided teeth cleaning as well as a healthy substance to chew. What he did find were teeth cleaning dog bones made of plastic, which were decidedly unhealthy!

He determined he needed a bone of a certain shape, durability and consistency that would help clean the dog's teeth while giving them actual nourishment, and last more than a few hours. If you own dogs, you know how quickly they can chew through a bone, toy or dog treat.

We consulted with him regarding the manufacturing processes that would be the most suitable, then completed the design of a helical shaped bone with 2 stages, made from pet friendly ingredients.  The client is currently in the final stages of material formulation prior to  manufacture.
